Ink'd : Spring Came Late !!!!
This had been a pretty slow yet hectic week for me at work. So I decided to take my mind off work a little. Started having random ideas about a few design which I've been tryin to look for; ( knowing that I'll be too bz and tired to design any of my own ). I went around Melb Central, window shopping and stuff but couldn't find any tagging / graffiti kinda designs. So took the initiative to come up with my own. Was having a huge dilemma on deciding which style I'll used as in for the words, and finally settled for this one. This tagging style is used pretty widely on the Eastside of New York. I add a little flavour to make it my own just a little bit. Hope you like it.
As for the one below, I've finally finish my second design for my tribute for the Malaysian Artists for Unity project. Emphasising on ONE as I've mentioned on my previous post. Thanx for the support peps.

Ink'd : Project One Hope
Lately, I’ve been working on a new project…and I called it “ Project One Hope”. After watching that “ Here in my home” video clip, I felt oblige to spread that “ONE” message. So I’m trying to do my part by designing something for it. So far, I’ve come up with a few rough sketches and I need your opinion on which one you like better. I don’t really have time to concentrate on all, so just to aid me out here, you could voice out which one you like better and then, I’ll just concentrate on fixing up the more popular one. This is the first stage whereby, this will be just like a logo kinda thinggie. I’ve yet to draw up a few sketches that I wanna use as a pictorial kinda thinggie. Basically there will be 2 version. The Word version and the pictorial version. Word version meaning, I’ll be compiling a few words which could spread that unity message, and pictorial version meaning, it’s be a drawing reflecting on my idea of unity. So with your support, hopefully we can do our part, not because we are being patriotic, but because home is home, and we represent Malaysia.
Ink'd : One Blink, One Ink, One Step Closer
So this is indeed the pseudo-vanity-project of the boy who limited drawing / designing skill. Anyways, after so long, I’ve finally had the time n vanity to put my stuff out there to be sold, well dat’s if anyone wants them. Anyways, let’s start from scratch. T-shirts are order to made, so ‘Yes’ there will be a WAITING TIME. The printing company is all the way in the US, so it takes me approx 1 week to get my items since the date of purchasing, and I’m all the way down here in AUS, so I guess for the people nearer to US, you’ll have to benefit of not waiting as long as I do. T-shirts, are like 100% cotton and it’s made in downtown LA, by American Apparel, (hence, the cost) . The designs, are mine, and I’m trying to keep the cost to a minimum, so I’m hardly getting anything back for the time I’ve spent on the drawings, but then again, I’m not Versace so I can’t demand anything at the moment until you people make me famous. *Hints…*GrInzzz…. All the t-shirts are of SLIM-FIT cut, and a small fit perfectly fine on me. Anyways, I’ve taken the liberty of getting a size chart for you boys and girls, to avoid disappointment. The currency as you can see is in USD. Therefore, I advise you to always check with the up-to-date currency converter if you are buying from anywhere else. Anyways, this is like my first official batch of designs that I’m putting out to the world. It’s the start of a dream come true for me. I’ve always wanted to get this done. "this is a pseudo-vanity project of a boy who has minimal writing, drawing, creativity skill "This is a little effort I manage to squeeze through my supa busy schedule at Hoyts. One step closer to keeping one of my dreams alive, while still trying to figure out what's next. There's still lots of improvement that needs to be done on some of the designs especially with the sizes of the graphic and placement of it. Hopefully, I'll continue to be inspired to keep things simple yet nice. I hate complexity as my life already has enough of it. I decided the theme for this would be called " Ink'd me Ink'd u " coz it's ink'd by me for you people out there...so hopefully you like at least one of my designs.
Why So Serious
So after watching "The Dark Knight", I've like totally converted to being a fan of the joker. The joker as in Heath Ledger's Joker. He played that role so well, and all the quotes, and the way the joker was...was just so intriguing.So I've been out shopping, browsing around for something which resembles the joker, and I heard that FCUK was doing a caliboration with DC comics, and among the range they have, I dig this one the most. 
Then someone suggested to me, why don't I come up with my own version..so I started drawing around, and then I came up with this

Was browsing around my usual webpage when I came across this picture. OMG, I so want a back piece now. I figure out it's time for a big one, to cover my smaller ones at my back. Seeing the expert tomorrow to see what he has to say about my random crazy idea. I guess after the crazy first half of the year, I deserve something to remind me of my accomplishments. So what more then to get myself a huge back piece. I think my side piece can wait for now. So today, I had time to draw up a design for my back piece to show my tattooist tomorrow. So this is a rough sketch which I came up with.
So this is like my unfinish back piece design. But I'm sure you can get the idea. I kinda screwed up the scales, but I'm sure the tattooist can do a much better job. Still haven't got an idea for the right position of the tail yet. Need to do some more home work. But the back ground would be the traditional japanese style kinda black column thinggie. Anyways, the picture below would be the side piece I was planning to get, but I'm sure it could wait till next year.
